After 10 days in NYC here is an eating report:
* best Upper East Side: Etats-Unis (both restaurant and wine bar on 81st and
2nd).
* best lowdown Chinese (so far on this trip): Congee Village, 100 Allen
Street, way downtown — you must inclue the House Special Chicken . dinner
for 3, many courses including beer = 46.00.
* best eat at the bar dinner: Union Square Cafe. anytime.
* best spot remover: Sprayway no.830 Spot Lifter. News: we are in NYC for our spring trunk show (march 14-28).
* last night we had a delicious dinner at Babbo. we can never get a reservation, so we just went there and, after an amusing 15 minute wait, got a table just inside the window.
* after the triple pier show and Leonardo — what a combination!
